M110 definitely ranks as a superweapon. It has practically unhindered striking capabilities and will really screw you over if you become it's target. It is also very expensive and doesn't appear until a while mid-late game.

F105 is probably less a superweapon but still very dangerous, particularly when you get Napalm. It generally don't appear until late game, unless your name is Handgun_Hero, you sell your CC straight up and have money to instantly blitz every motherfucker in the game. XD

At least, that's how it was in the old days.  Sad

The idea with the mod was always to avoid having a buildable super weapon - it then becomes an arms race. Having said that, the F105 and M110 are your top tier strike units and could be considered super weapons in that they are expensive and come late game but have devastating firepower and become the focus of attention when built.
but wasn't the Cold War just a huge arms race between NATO and the soviet union

This is not at all the same thing, and if you want to play that card, then you would be able to build lots of superweapons that you are not allowed to fire. ¬_¬

Well the M110 is not really a superweapon any more it has been balanced out a bit but you still wouldn't be happy to be under the bombardment of one.

On the new big 4 playermap (what's the name again?) is a small bug: The main village hut in the most southern part at the river would not rebuild itself after it was burned to the ground once by my Thuds. I waited a long time and finished off two challenging AIs in the time, and still no new main hut..
