Hydra Update with lots of screens

Vietnam | Glory Obscured - Hydra Status Update

Progress on the NVA faction for the Hydra release has been moving along pretty well. Most of the art is in with a few art assets left to be made. We are continuing to refine the code and trying to squash out any bugs.

Balancing the NVA is proving to be a time consuming process, but balancing always is. Over the coming weeks we will continue to balance out the NVA.

Below are some screen shots taken by our beta tester Jackseno. Images include everything from amphibious tank assaults to MIG strikes.

This Month in Vietnam - June 1968

In April, 1968, U.S. forces in Operation Pegasus finally retake Route 9, ending the siege of Khe Sanh. A 77 day battle, Khe Sanh had been the biggest single battle of the Vietnam War to that point. The official assessment of the North Vietnamese Army dead is just over 1,600 killed, with two divisions all but annihilated. But thousands more were probably killed by American bombing. By June, 1968, strong, highly mobile American forces now in the area, and the base no longer needed for defense, General Westmoreland approves the abandonment and demolition of Khe Sanh

You didn't update the month in Vietnam, you still got April's there.  Wink

Don't ever ever assume that comedian can't come back from where he is. Because he's probably got your base laced with C4, hueys and panthers and has paid a man to come to your house and sleep with your girlfriend.

I like the MiG-21 there.

This month in Vietnam: June 1965, the US government first recognizes that USA and ARVN troops are engaging in combat in defense of key installations.

If you actually read it you would see that the June happenings goes hand in hand with the April happenings. Just trying to tie it together as to why the troops are leaving Khe Sanh. Sheesh.

Are those PT76s going to get amphibious wave particle FXs like the M113?

I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10 that it would be "soon"
