I'd like to see what kind of oriental stuff you can do.

I can't speak for the team though.

Hey Carl,

I had a listen to the pieces on your site written for other mods; I thought they were great and gave quite a nice, diverse portfolio. =)

I'd definitely be interested in hearing a demo. The idea is to have an oriental piece that still manages to be grand and sweeping. A good example of this is the piece used on our first trailer back in 2006 - bit of a slow build up, but I've rarely heard epic oriental pieces:

I'm a sucker for grand orchestral pieces with lots of layers, like X-Ray dog; I used Burning Religion in a December 2009 trailer.

I'll let SC add anything useful to that, as he's much more arty than I. Wink

Good inspiration for something along the lines of what we are thinking is the crouching tiger hidden dragon soundtrack.

That should give you more of an idea of the sound we're looking for.

Also the track I used in our old trailer is called Flesh and Bone from Battlestar Galactica. The part I used picks up around the 1:30 mark

On your site will be fine - it won't fit on the forum anyway - and just PM me the login details to get it.

Yeah I heard it from the PM. Sounds decent, although it's hard to tell how it will progress from such a short clip - reminds me a lot of the China soundtrack in ZH.

I will drop a longer one on soon.

I would normally do something around 5 - 6 mins.
